The Golden Age
As described by OVID, a Roman philosopher and author.
Ovid lived from 43 B.C. - 17 A.D
"The
era that we called the Golden Age was blessed with the fruits of the trees
and the plants that the Earth brought forth, and the mouths of the people
were not stained with blood.
Then the birds moved their wings safely in the air, and the rabbits roamed fearlessly through the free fields. Then the fish was not the innocent victim of man.
In later eras a trouble-maker abused and despised this pure and simple nourishment, stuffing into his gluttonous belly food that originated from corpses. At the same time, he thus opened the way to evil." (Ovid)
